      we have lived in Paris for one month. all our dining experiences prior to eating at Mavrommatis have been a serious disappointment - over priced, bad service, bad quality and leaving you with an impression of Paris as a scam. Mavrommatis was amazing. We had dinner for six, chose the fixed price menu and had the freshest hummus, tzatziki and eggplant paste for starters. the wine from Santorini was amazing (better than any French wine), the fish adaptation was a great entree. my son had meat balls with orzo that was like my grandmother in Cyprus used to make. Service impeccable - food without reproach and a restaurant that is roomy with large tables and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended. Right now this is our favorite in Paris.
